Real Ales

Black Sheep Brewery

Black Sheep Ale

Bittersweet in mouth with a dry finish packed with fruity notes and Goldings hops.

Black Sheep Ale is a full flavoured, premium bitter with a rich fruity aroma. We use plenty of choice Golding hops which give it a roast coffee maltiness followed by Black Sheep’s characteristic refreshingly dry and bitter finish.

Cropton Brewery

We rotate our Cropton Ales

Yorkshire Moors

Raise a glass of Yorkshire Moors Bitter and toast the 50th birthday of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. As the ale tickles your taste buds picture the swathes of purple-topped heather blooms that makes this glorious corner of North Yorkshire so special. A ruby beer brewed with Fuggles and Progress Hops. Dark in colour with a unique hoppy and fruity aftertaste with a bitterseet finish. Proving to be a big favourite.

Endeavour Ale

Embark upon a voyage of discovery and aventure with this light, refreshing beer with an adventurous aftertaste.

Dedicated to the life of Whitby's Captain James Cook and the famous ship The Endeavour. Brewed using Marris Otter malt and a combination of four different hops including Hersbrucker & Saaz hops to give a delicate, fruity aftertaste

2 Pints

Our very first brew and still our most popular cask beer. A classic bitter providing a balanced hoppy flavour with a malty aftertaste.

Dragon Slayer

This IPA is brewed in the traditional style with British hops to provide a well balanced beer with a dark fruit aroma.

Yorkshire Warrior

On St George's Day 23 April 2008, the Brewery released a new beer called Yorkshire Warrior. The beer was produced to celebrate the proud achievements of the Yorkshire Regiment and to commemorate the sacrifices the soldiers and families of the regiment have endured. The proceeds of the beer sales go directly to the regimental benevolent fund to help support former regimental members who require help following their discharge from the service.
